Welcome To The Club

Building Our Community

We work hard to stay optimistic. To build stronger connections in the community. To foster youth.

We are committed and passionate volunteers. And we are always looking for like-minded people.

If you are one of those people, get in touch or sign up. We would love to hear from you.

ABOUT OUR CLUB

RAISE YOUR CONFIDENCE

Members of the Port Colborne Optimist Club are part of an extended family that encourages social and community interaction, gets you out of the house, and gives you a voice. Be your best self and gain confidence as you work with us to achieve things you can be proud of.

Committees

Our community events take a lot of organization. We break them down into manageable sizes by forming committees to handle them.

Members volunteer for the events and committees that they want to be on. Each committee works on their own agendas, manages budgets, allocated tasks, and so on. If you find one that you have specials skills in or are passionate about, you may even get to be a committee chair.

Events

Our events are known across the region. From organizing Canada Day to hosting Christmas Bazaar, Optimist Club events are a large part of what we do and who we are. And you can be part of that.

This year, we are excited to add the annual Kids Fishing Derby to our roster.
