The deed is done! 8 kilometres of ditches. 31 bags of garbage.
That’s how much litter was thrown or blown from vehicles onto our adopted road Killaly East in Port Colborne since we last cleared it 6 months ago. 31 bags of garbage collected, bagged, and ready for pickup. And we will clear that 8 kilometres all over again, 6 months from now. Our cleanup is twice a year and has been for 20 years.
Thank you to the PC Pathfinders for turning out again! Thank you to the members that came out today and helped pick up every bottle, Timmies cup, broken tail light, license plate (yes indeed) and beer can. The job needed doing and you all rolled up your sleeves and did it. See you again in six months…
