At our 40th anniversary celebration yesterday, Lily, a representative from the office of Niagara South MPP Fred Davies, presented our longer serving members with certificates of recognition for their service to the community.
We often talk about a team. This is the backbone of it. These people turn up. Roll up their sleeves. And make things happen.
Every person here has over 5 years of service. Particular call outs go to Ray Newman (30 years), and Larry Olm (40 years), who sadly passed earlier this year. An original founding member, his certificate was collected by his wife Cathy. This. This is the kind of commitment we have from the people on our team. To serve alongside them is a privilege and an inspiration. Respect.
