The PC Optimist Club runs the whole nine yards at H. H. Knoll Park in Port Colborne on Canada Day. Everything from craft vendors to food trucks, music, animal displays, and participation fun and games. The City buys the cupcakes, gets the park cleaned up and ready, and takes care of park cleanup after the event. They also provide the canal side firework displays, always popular and always spectacular.
But everything in the park is organized by our dedicated teams of volunteers, coordinating logistics and making things happen. Bouncy castles. Birds of prey. Alpacas. From penny sale to popcorn. Every year, we got this. And you’re welcome.
Fresh on the heels of our success at the Kids Fishing Derby, we look forward to welcoming visitors new and old to the annual Canada Day event. Bring the kids, the grandparents, anyone you want. We aim to ensure there is something here for everyone.
And we look forward to seeing you.
